Cucumber Jalapeno Tequila Spritz

Ok this is basically a lightened up margarita but we are calling it a spritz because it is refreshing and PERFECT for warm sunny days ahead (or today wherever you are). It is my new go-to favorite beverage because it isn’t too sweet, isn’t too spicy and is literally the perfect balance of flavors. You’re going to LOVE IT.

Cucumber Jalapeno Tequila Spritz

Ingredients: serves 2
1/2 orange, juiced
1/2 lime, juiced
1/2 jalapeno, sliced
1/2 mini cucumber, chopped
3-4 oz blanco tequila
soda water
optional: Red Clay Margarita Salt (yum)

In a cocktail shaker, add your sliced jalapeño and cucumber with the juices of half an orange and half a lime. Use a muddler to muddle these together at the base of your shaker. Then add your tequila and ice and shake, shake, shake! Rim your glass if you desire and pour your tequila concoction into two glasses using the strainer (so you avoid all the jalapeño and cucumber chunks!). Add ice and top with your favorite sparkling soda/soda water. Top with a jalapeño and enjoy!!

I’m telling you now, this is going to be your summer beverage of choice! Please please please let me know if you make it!!
