When we first moved into our home 4 years ago we decorated the majority of our first floor. We leaned a little more simple in terms of layering and now I am getting the itch to increase the fun. Spring in Charleston is a dream and the sunny days and ocean air has me leaning hard into light and airy accents. Mixing prints, replacing white lampshades with something more colorful, finally filling empty walls and adding in more pieces that spark joy. Here is a fun little collection of pieces that have caught my eye or have already made their way into our home!
Fresh Home Finds for Spring
We replaced the standard white lamp shades that came our dining room chandelier, with these fun printed clip on ones! They have so many beautiful styles to choose from in their shop.
I always get asked about our kitchen runner. It is such a fun pop of print in our kitchen and since it is cotton it is easy to throw in the wash!
The only room I haven’t touched in our home in our entry! I am dying for a new table, lamp, wall art situation and this beautiful credenza from Oyster Creek is at the top of my wish list.
Piglet in Bed has become a new favorite bedding brand and I love this sweet floral print for our bedroom. All of our boys have a gingham duvet from them (seen here).
My friend Ruth makes the most fun shell pieces! I already have one of her shell panels in our upstairs guest bath but I’m eyeing this one for downstairs.
How fun is this shell pendant?! Would be so cute in a powder room!
These portable lamps (I have the white and gold) are so fun to have on hand and I love these gingham shades!
We are closing off our carport to be an outdoor living space and I’m already laying out pieces to fill the space. How gorgeous is this sofa?!
I love these art prints from one of my local favorites.
Heather Taylor Home is the queen of happy gingham. I love this Citron Tablecloth and these mini gingham placemats.
