It is not always easy to find a dress that can do it call. One that works for the office, for date night, for play and can be worn with heels, ballet flats or boots. But, this dress does it all.

I would say my style is on the conservative side. I am not one to show very much skin which is why this dress is a win for my closet. Although, I love that this dress is still playful! The seam at my natural waist line and shorter hem still gives you some shape (Dave was appreciative of that!) and helps offset the high necklace and ruffled collar. It is such a flattering dress (I’m wearing a small) and if you’re interested in trying the burgundy trend for fall, I highly recommend. A great price, too!

Now, let’s talk about these boots. I had been searching for a lighter brown knee-high boot. I decided on these because I loved the color, the slouch-y style and price. My legs are short so I’m really picky about the height of my boots. They either have to hit right below my knee cap or above. Nothing below unless it is a bootie. That way the heigh hits me at the thinnest part of my legs, making them appear slimmer and longer. They are also super comfortable!

I’ve been getting a ton of questions about my hair lately so I wanted to share my quick routine. I usually wash my hair everyday or maybe every other day. I prefer to curl my hair after it is blow dried because it has a dryer texture (by day two my hair is too soft and nothing holds). I use my T3 curling iron with the 1 inch straight barrel. My hair is super thick and heavy so I curl it tightly in small sections. I let it cool and then spray it with hair spray. Once it has dried I brush it out completely with a flat brush for more relaxed wave. That’s it!

One thing I have to say about my curling iron is that I know it is expensive. To be honest, I had always owned a crappy Hot Tools curling iron and would have never invested in something this pricey. But I started noticing damage in my hair and decided to try it after reading very positive reviews. The T3 is a game changer! It is worth every single penny. It does wonders for your hair, heats up in seconds, has cut the time it takes to do my hair in half and leaves your hair super shiny. I always get questions asking why I prefer the wrap rather than the clamp. For me it is much faster and I avoid the crimp from the clamp, but that is personal preference. It would be a great thing to ask for for Christmas if you don’t want to make the investment (I get it). Just a heads up! Not sponsored or gifted at all.

Have a great week ahead, friends! Oh, and Happy Halloween! Did you see Charlie’s costume?? I’m obsessed.
