Most of the time when it comes to setting the table or really anything to do with decor I sort of feel like I have no idea what I’m doing. I know what I like but when it comes together it sort of just looks like a blob of different styles, unrefined and maybe kind of a mess. And I used to get annoyed with myself like “why don’t you have an eye for this!” but it’s just not my strength and that’s fine. This year’s Christmas table I sort of pulled out everything tabletop related that I owned with COLOR and I went for it. And you know what, we had the happiest Christmas table ever. I am taking that energy with me into 2024! And yes there is no glassware and in all honesty we never even sat down to eat at the table because our Christmas wasn’t what we thought it was going to be so it got tucked away just as it was and that’s okay too. A good reminder in fewer expectations, more fun. I was proud of it nonetheless.
I thought it would be fun to roundup some colorful tabletop accessories to inspire you to have fun with your entertaining in the new year! I want everything on this roundup (a few I already own and love!) but overall I’m determined to host more and pull out the fun stuff even for just our little family.
