Homemade Citrus Wellness Tea

Homemade citrus wellness tea (well not really tea), packed with good for you ingredients to help support your immune system with the changing seasons ahead. Ok honestly, I hate tea. To me it dries out my mouth, always tastes a little chalky and I’d rather just have water with lemon. BUT THIS “TEA” IS A GAMECHANGER. Really not tea at all, just a healthy way to ramp up your hot water at the end of the day. When anyone in sick in our house we go through this in a couple days. The kids enjoy it, too! I like to drink a cup of it early in the morning (before my coffee) and then to wind down at the end of the day. Let me know what you think!!

Check out the step by step video right here!

There are so many benefits from these ingredients – they help boost your immune system, fight inflammation, aid in digestion, cleanse your liver and kidneys and more. The perfect addition to your diet during the colder months!

Homemade Citrus Wellness Tea

Ingredients:
1 lemon sliced
1 orange (I used a mandarin) sliced
1 chunk of ginger sliced
1 cup pineapple juice
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp turmeric
1/2 cup raw honey
1 tap black pepper

Combine in a glass bowl with a lid (I have and love these!) and store in your refrigerator for up to week. Put as much as you’d like into the bottom of a mug and top with hot water. Enjoy!

As always, let me know if you ever make my recipes! I LOVE seeing them in your home. Find more recipes right here.
