Give me a holiday party (or any reason to dress festive really) and I’m a happy girl! There is something about this time of year and all of the fancy outfit options that makes me excited. As I get older, my style has changed from the cutesy party dress – which I still love – to more tailored outfits. Accessorized with some statement bauble earrings to create an outfit perfect for your next holiday party!

Leave it to Nordstrom to have everything I need when it comes to dressing for the holidays. Whether it is casual dinner parties at our best friend’s house, an office party or something super festive, you’re sure to find something for any occasion. I am really gravitating towards green this season and couldn’t pass up this fun leopard print top for an upcoming holiday party! I love the big bow on the side and the shiny silk print is stunning in person. I paired it with the perfect black trouser pant. Literally so flattering and the perfect length! Instead of wearing a blazer I opt for a leather jacket to tone down the look a little. I want it to feel fun and relaxed rather than office inspired since the trousers are so tailored. 

You won’t see me in a red lip too often but I can’t resist when the holiday roll around. Urban Decay’s lipstick in Wired is a perfect coraly red which feels light and fresh. When I saw Bauble Bar’s new holiday earring collection I immediately ordered three pairs. I am totally going to be that old lady with the holiday sweater that matches her earrings that matches her socks and I can’t wait. This Christmas tree pair is so much fun!
