Spring Wardrobe Refresh

As a mom I think it is really easy to fall into a rut with your wardrobe. I find myself making excuses for why I wear the same five outfits  or buying too much of the same thing because I know it works. Shopping used to be one of my favorite activities but lately it can feel like a daunting task. Enter Trunk Club. A simple and fun way to refresh your wardrobe.

If you have read my blog for awhile then you know I love Trunk Club. I have actually worked with them for years and truly love and appreciate their services (see previous posts here, here, here and here!).  When I look at my closet and feel like I need some fresh eyes, I email my TC stylist. If I’m feeling uninspired and need some good basics to transform items I already own, I email my stylist. It is seriously such a no-brainer service that I can’t recommend enough.

Before we went to Turks & Caicos, I was feeling discouraged with my style. I am still trying to lose my baby weight, not feeling confident in my clothes and was in need of some encouragement/a little push. Spring always feels like a time to reinvent yourself a bit so I reached out to my Trunk Club stylist for some help. If you’re unfamiliar with how TC works, it is a virtual and in-person (if you live near a Clubhouse) personal styling service. Trunk Club was actually founded in Chicago and I love visiting my stylist in their beautiful downtown Clubhouse but also utilize their trunk services, too! The trunk is so easy. After filling out a survey about size, style and fit preferences, a stylist handpicks items for you based on your responses. You’ll then receive a preview of the contents of your trunk and can decide what you’d like to receive, things you’d like to pass on and interact with the items. Once the trunk arrives, you try everything on, keep what you love and send the rest back at no charge. Easy shopping from the comfort of your home!

I had been on the hunt for a cute midi skirt for Spring but =was worried it wouldn’t look right on my body (I’m super short waisted). When I opened my trunk and saw this midi skirt I was excited to try it on and so pleasantly surprised that I loved it! It is actually super slimming and I can already visualize it with so many looks. All I needed was some encouragement from my stylist (Hi Blair! Fun fact we’ve been working together for 3 years :)). As a Nordstrom Company, Trunk Club carries an expansive variety of quality inventory from your favorite brands in clothing, shoes, bags and accessories for both men and women. I honestly can’t recommend their services enough and highly recommend giving it a try if you’re in need of some Spring cleaning in your closet. It’s a win-win relationship and something I’m truly grateful for as a busy mom/business owner.
