Do you shop for your guy? I swear I enjoy shopping for Dave more than myself sometimes. It’s fun to push someone out of their comfort zone a little bit. Not that Dave’s style is necessarily risky but there are some things that he definitely wouldn’t wear if it weren’t for me. At this point, I know the brands that he loves (Bonobos, Patagonia, Billy Reid, Barbour, Vince) and I can tell what styles he is always itching to try. Since fall fashion is my favorite I thought I’d share some fall outfit ideas for guys so you can join in on the shopping fun.
Dave looks like a little model in these photos. He is such an all-American boy (heart eyes). His style motto is classic and comfortable with an element of surprise like pairing a cool pair of sneakers with khakis (+ a button down and a blazer – his go-to). He is big into layering which gives his outfits a bit more dynamic and really helps to complete a look. Think a cute henley t-shirt with a plaid shirt unbuttoned with corduroys and boots or a sweater and a light blazer paired with khakis and sneakers. It’s all about wearing what you love!
Nordstrom is definitely our one stop shopping destination for all of his favorite brands (and mine too). I swear he is always buying a new item from Patagonia every single fall. He also has 4 or 5 pairs of these Bonobos chinos. A new obsession for Dave are stylish sneakers. He usually rotates between this Adidas pair and his suede Vince sneakers which look great dressed up or down. All of these items are staples that any guys would wear for fall! I’m always looking to keep Dave up to date on the latest and greatest but in a way that makes him comfortable and confident. This look is the perfect example!
