So many screenshots that I thought it was necessary to put this amazing recipe on the internets. These things are addicting, packed with protein and really good for you! I love having a couple with my coffee in the morning or sneaking one after dinner. Here’s what to do…

What you’ll need:
1 mini muffin tin

for the bottom
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (my mom uses this protein and it is really fine/doesn’t leave the grainy texture that I sometimes get from protein powder – this stuff is good!)
3/4 cups organic peanut butter (I love Whole Foods’ peanut butter that is just peanuts and salt – no added sugar)
1 tablespoon grade B maple syrup (this maple syrup has less processing and more nutrients intact)
2 tablespoons coconut oil melted

Combine ingredients and distribute into a mini muffin tin evenly. Freeze for 15 minutes.

for the top
1/4 cup raw cacao powder
1 tablespoon grade B maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

Combine ingredients and add to the muffin tins (on top of the peanut butter layer). Let freeze for 30 minutes before enjoying. Store in the freezer!

*You obviously do not need to buy organic everything for this recipe but these are the items we use. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments.

Enjoy! xx
