Ready for Winter

After living in the Midwest for my entire life, I’ve learned that investing in reliable, warm, and waterproof boots doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style to keep your toesies protected. I’ve tried and tested them all and the only boots that I continue to buy year after year are Sorel.

I love that Sorel boots focus on style and protection, making them perfect for outerwear but also stylish and comfortable enough to wear all day. The Out N’ About boot is my choice for busy days when I’m running from barre class, to the grocery store, to lunch or taking Webster to the dog park. They are lightweight, waterproof, and easy to slip on when I’m in a hurry but still manage to make me feel cute and put together. For wet snow days I opt for my Premium CVS Boots which are durable enough for heavy trecks through the snow. They have a felt wool liner to keep your feet extra warm even in super cold temps. I’m wearing the Major color but switched out my laces.

I am thankful that I have stylish options for when the weather really gets bad around here. If you’re looking for a new winter boot, Sorel just opened a store at Westfield Old Orchard! They have so many awesome styles, whether you’re looking for all-weather or just a casual boot to keep your feet warm. I highly recommend checking out the store so you can see just how many options they have to try. If you’re new to Chicago, you better be prepared for what’s to come! I’m also a huge fan of the Caribou, Premium Wedge Boot and the Snow Angel.
