I scheduled a last minute trip to central Kansas for a couple of days to spend some time with my sweet grandmother in my dad’s hometown. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to take a step back from my reality, breathe in some fresh air, visit the old family farm, and be thankful for this beautiful country that we live in and all of the amazing things my family has done to create the life that I live today.
