I’m pretty sure that any of us would say that The North Face holds a special place in our hearts. There wasn’t a year that went by growing up when I didn’t request a new North Face coat and backpack for my new school year. It’s a brand that never strays from styles that you can rely on, especially when you live in a place that requires high quality outwear year after year. We put our coats through the ringer during the winter months and with our boys growing so quickly it seems like every year we are adding new coats to our closets. The North Face graciously sent us some new styles to try this year and all of us are in love with our new coats!

Every morning before school Charlie requests his green coat and I’m biased but he looks so cute. I love the big pockets and removable hood plus it is so incredibly warm. The green/camel combo make him look like a little lumberjack. Charlie is wearing the Youth XXS! A few other coats I loved for toddler boys are here, here (for youth size references, Charlie is usually a 4/5T and wearing an XXS) and here. Paired with the cutest ribbed beanie that comes in a bunch of fun colors. 

Ok honestly, Dave has needed a new winter coat since I met him. Not just a warm coat – I mean a stylish, insulated and an on-trend winter coat that isn’t crazy expensive but looks GOOD. And one that is also Dave approved which is sometimes hard! Oversized coats are definitely in but sometimes they can be a lot of coat, you know? I love this McMurdo Parka III on him! It’s big and warm but not overwhelming at all. I think sometimes these coats can be a little too long and wide but this one fits him perfectly (Dave is 5’11” FYI). Dave is wearing the Medium in Urban Navy and you can’t beat the price for this style of coat! He looks like such a cutie (:
