I am so happy that you’re here!
I’m Liz Adams and this is my family. My husband Dave, Charlie (3) and Jack (1) and our 9 year old chocolate lab, Webster. We live in the suburbs of Chicago and are currently in the thick of parenting – ha! Life is hectic and beautiful and I’m so excited to share this new space with you.
After blogging for 7 years at Sequins & Stripes, it was time for a change. When I started my blog in 2011 it was focused on personal style and fashion. Fast forward 7 years and my life has changed greatly. You have seen me get married, have Charlie, find out I was pregnant again, then Jack came along, then we moved to the suburbs and here we are. Now my days are filled with loads of laundry and two crazy babes – definitely not sequins or stripes. The future of my business no longer centers around me, but my entire family. Hello Adams Family is a new beginning, a more in-depth look at our lives and a place to share more!
A small pit in my stomach forms when I think about all that Sequins & Stripes has brought me. More than I could have dreamed of in all honesty. I’ll carry those seven years with me into this next chapter so know that what you saw there will be the same here! Just a more user friendly experience, fresh content ideas and a larger focus on family. I am so excited to see where this new space takes us and for all that is to come!
