My favorite trick for creating an effortless outfit is combining elements that seem like an unlikely combination. Usually for me this means the juxtaposition of something feminine with items that are a bit edgy. This outfit is the perfect example! 

Maxi dresses happen to be my best friends these days but I also gravitated towards the silhouette of this dress. It is light and airy and can be dressed up or down. It also happens to be $35 and would look equally cute at a family barbecue paired with these sandals.

Since the floral print of the dress is so feminine I decided to add some grey accessories to make it a little less girly. This grey suede moto jacket is such a fun piece and can easily be thrown over everything. It was just RESTOCKED in ALL SIZES! The same style is available in faux leather or other suede colors. I paired the dress with these studded sandals which are under $100. I love the grey color and edgy details. They are fully stocked and run true to size (I’m wearing a size 7). If you’re looking for a cute crossbody bag for fall this Rebecca Minkoff style is perfect. It is sold out in the grey but is still available in gold, pink velvet (which I also bought!) and this embroidered style.
