Bath time is by far Charlie’s favorite time of the day. If we even mention the word ‘bath’ before it’s actually time, Charlie will run down the hall and stay in the bathroom until we run the water. It’s our favorite way to unwind from the day.

There is something about the scent of Charlie’s bath products that brings back a huge sense of nostalgia. We have been using Mustela products since Charlie was a newborn and the scent is something that will always bring me back to the early days. My friend Alex brought me her “new mom essentials” the day we got home from the hospital with C and one of the items were these facial cleansing cloths. To this day we use them every single day because the scent is seriously so so beautiful and clean. Not to mention Mustela’s products are made with the best of the best ingredients for your little one.

For bath time we use and love the Gentle Cleansing Gel. It cleans without stripping the skin of its natural oils. It’s also made with Mustela’s secret weapon of Avocado Perseose, a patented natural ingredient to help protect and hydrate the skin. We like to follow up bath time with the Hydra Bebe Facial Cream and the Hydra Baby Body Lotion. Both contain an elixir of plant based ingredients (Sunflower Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamins E and F and Almond Oil to name a few!) that strengthen their delicate skin. 

On the go, I love to use the Cleansing Water, which can be used on the body, face and diaper area and doesn’t require a rinse! It’s so gentle and perfect for when you’re in a hurry. I keep two mini bottle’s in my diaper bag and my car at all times. 

One of my favorite things about the Mustela brand is that they have curated daily care for babies and children that is tailored to your babies skin type. A concept that has only been utilized for adults! Whether your baby has dry skin, is prone to eczema, has sensitive skin or normal skin – there are products for every little one. For example, Charlie generally has pretty normal skin but he can sometimes get eczema breakouts on his arms. I keep the Stelatopia Emollient Balm on hand to combat flare-ups. Their baby products are a resource for mama’s who struggle to figure out their baby’s skin types. 

Whether you’re a new mom or a seasoned mama, we know that our babies are constantly changing and we always want to do our best to protect them. I’m realizing as the seasons change that Charlie’s skin is a little more sensitive than I originally thought (hello allergies). We have relied on Mustela products since day one and I really can’t recommend them enough.
