Dressing for winter can get old really quick. It was freezing when we shot these photos on our walk to brunch last weekend (like 15 degrees). At that point, getting dressed isn’t for fashion purposes, it is to stay warm. I’ve realized the importance of having coats that basically create an outfit in themselves. 

This week has been a doozy. Dave was home sick until Wednesday with a bad flu bug. Having your husband home sick when you have a child is kind of the worst. It is like taking care of two babies (I love you, Dave). Then on Thursday Charlie woke up with a cold and by the end of day I had it too. Let’s just say I’m looking forward to a weekend with very little plans and a healthy husband who can watch Charlie while I sneak in a nap 🙂
