The temperature was -2 degrees when I woke up this morning. A type of cold that makes it hard to be outside with a baby (don’t worry, we snapped these photos quickly when it was 38 degrees).
My family keeps asking me what I want for Christmas this year and almost everything I’ve asked for has been for Charlie. He is growing so much that I’m constantly buying new things to fit him. Especially with winter in full force, I have been trying to buy as many layers as I can.
At the end of this month Charlie will be 15 months. I can’t believe it!! He is my buddy. I love being a mom in the city with this little guy by my side. Now that he is walking everywhere getting him dressed is so much for fun. He is basically my doll.
I have been getting so many questions about Charlie’s winter wardrobe and I wanted to share a few items that we have and love (and that would make great gift ideas for parents!). We love shopping at Nordstrom because they carry all of our favorite baby brands in one place. Here are some of our top picks:
A fleece jacket – sometimes I layer this (Charlie is wearing 6-12 months) under his coat!
If you’re looking for some good gift ideas I love this cozy carseat cover, a stroller muff, a Hazel Village doll, a toy train set and an activity mat. If you’re looking for some luxury baby gifts I recommend this stroller, this baby monitor or anything from our favorite Chicago baby brand, Monica + Andy! Their cuddle boxes are the perfect gift for friends who just had babies (it is my go-to hospital gift!). Keep in mind that the last day to order for guaranteed delivery by Christmas is December 23rd.
