Telling Time

nordstrom watch guideThere are two types of people in this world: watch people and non-watch people. I’ve always been somewhere in the middle. When I do wear a watch it’s this one but I always admire how put together a woman looks when she has a feminine time pieces mixed in with her bracelet stack or standing alone on her arm. A watch is definitely a gift with meaning as they are usually on the more expensive side and they are something that people notice. I’m always admiring other people’s watches and it made me realize that {a} it is time for me to invest in my own and {b} they make for a really great gift.

Dave LOVES watches. I could get him a watch for every celebratory occasion for the rest of our lives and he would be happy {he has this one and this one!}. I am also thinking that a beautiful watch would make the perfect Mother’s Day gift too, don’t you agree? Here are a few of my favorite brands…

I love Michele watches. If I wanted to invest in one for myself this is definitely the brand I would choose. So timeless, chic, feminine, delicate enough but always a statement. I also love that you can change out the bands for something more casual or dressy!

Kate Spade New York watches are the perfect in-between if you’re looking for something classic or playful. I love all of the cute details on this one!

Tory Burch’s new watch collection is sporty-chic. This lucite watch is kind of my favorite and I love that her wrap watches make the most beautiful bracelets, too!

Daniel Wellington watches are beautiful and an amazing price point. I also love that their faces are super thin and lightweight. The bands are interchangeable too!
