Truth: the first time I saw Dave in a swimsuit he was wearing American flag board shorts. Now I can understand the appeal of this style when you’re in college {we were 2 years out} but it was the moment I realized that swimsuits for men are very important.

For a long time the long board shorts style was extremely popular and if that is what your man is the most comfortable in then that’s ok! But I have been a fan of the shorter more classic style for awhile now and I compare it to the way I assume a guy feels about a bikini compared to a one-piece bathing suit – if you’ve got it then flaunt it and that can apply to the boys too! Since summer is quickly approaching and we have some long lake weekends on the horizon it’s about time that Dave invests in a few new suits. I have loved printed swimsuits for me {helllllllo this and this and this please!} and the new styles/prints for men are equally as cute!
