Topshop Ponte Blazer // Madewell Silk Singalong Top {on sale!} // Ralph Lauren Skinny Pants // Loren Hope Ella Necklace // J.Crew Raffia Belt // DVF Adele Clutch // Loeffler Randall Edith Platforms {on sale!}
I decided to feminize {is that a word?} this DVF Spring 2012 runway look; it is a bit too masculine for my taste and for my 5’4″ frame {I would get eaten up by the tailored pants and long blazer}. So, I decided to start with a skinnier pant and some fabulous platform heels, paired with a slightly brighter green top and a cozy blazer. I didn’t love the dark, patent loafers that were originally paired with the DVF look, I think there was too much of a contrast between the outfit and the shoes. I think the platform python heels fit in quite nicely + topped off with a fun necklace and the same DVF clutch in a pretty pastel pink – feminine chic if I do say so myself!
