Today is August 1st…can you believe it? Where have these warm summer months gone? And time in general. I know I am only in my mid twenties, but lately I am feeling short on time. I am currently spending the majority of my days in a job that I don’t like, and why? Life is about passion, right? Spending this weekend with my family, opened my eyes to just how special {and short} our lives are, and how important it is to spend it being happy and satisfied with what you make of it. Alaina started her blog on a simple saying:

So, today is August 1st. This month I turn 25, this month I am going to create the life that I want to live, and I am going to appreciate the little things. On this sunny Monday morning in Chicago, I am thankful for the simple pleasures that brighten my day.
