What are your favorite workout clothes and brands?
Beyond Yoga sets, anything lululemon Align, Vuori pieces for a good in-between, Athleta sets and I love Addison Bay for color!
What are your favorite colorful fall sneakers? Not adidas please!
I love these brown Autry sneakers, these blue Autry sneakers, these neutral Vejas, these New Balance sneakers, the Veja Wata sneakers are a classic and I love the Sezane Theo sneakers (the green!).
Any casual coat recommendations?
I was recently going through my coats from past seasons and noticed that the Barn Coat has been a staple in my wardrobe for years. I have a Barbour coat that I got during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale probably 6 years ago that is still a fall staple. Some of my favorite styles from this new season here, here and here. I want this red version that keeps selling out (snag it fast!).
Can you share some fall and winter wedding guest dress ideas?
I love this beautiful printed dress, how cute is this red bow mini, this polka dot party dress, this $100 green dress, this metallic beauty, this is classic and gorgeous, and this is fun!
What are your favorite fall tops?
I’ve decided that all the blouses I want to wear are from Doen. They are so beautiful, flattering and timeless. I love this new Josseline top, the Aster top, the Hardy top is a favorite and the short sleeve Henri top.
If you were to pick only a few items to buy for the season, what would they be?
A good pair of jeans, a good white tee, ballet flats, a cashmere sweater, a nice printed blouse and a light jacket. And a classic dress!
How are you incorporating this season’s trends? What are they? Thoughts on Leopard?
I am not a huge trend girlie! I feel, specifically with fall, my style always remains fairly classic this time of the year. I feel like I hop on silhouette trends (like this vest style or these silky track pants, for example) and like to sprinkle in prints and textures. The trends I like this season are more tailored, feminine inspired details and I do love a leopard shoe for fall.
What are your fall cooking favorites?
Do you mean recipes? If so, then my favorite soup recipe of all time, skinny chicken pot pie, taco bowl casserole and chicken pesto ravioli come to mind.
Any recommendations for fall finds under $200?
I have a big folder that I keep updating right here.
What are some ideas for WFH/mom life but still looking put together?
Well, you know how much I love Spanx Air Essentials (LIZXSPANX gets you 15% off!). I wear these pieces around the house all the time because I feel totally okay running to the grocery store or any other errand in them, too. I also got this knit set for fall which I think is perfect for WFH/mom life. I also think Varley has great casual wear! Big fan of this slim pant and this easy sweatshirt. If you want to take it up a notch, my most worn “uniform” is a stripe tee and jeans.
Do you have any recommendations for a knee length puffer jacket for moderate weather?
My mom has and loves this jacket (it’s the cutest style), this style was one of my favorites when we lived in Chicago and I also still have and love my Moncler parka (which if you live in a place with tough winters, is worth every $$).
Which Lake Pajamas robe is your favorite?
I love the weight and the cut of the scallop robe!
What are your go to shoes for this fall that aren’t sneakers?
I bought these boots last year and they are still my favorites (and currently 50% off!), I have and love these Mary Jane flats and they go with everything, I love these shearling clogs and I wish I was more of a loafer girlie (for some reason they feel too serious on me!) but I do really like this pair.
In need of a good grab & go slip on comfy shoe for morning drop offs! What’s a good in between of birks and uggs?
Ok I just got these and they are amazing. I got the green color!
What would be your pick for a classic and versatile black bag around ~$500-600?
I love Mansur Gavriel’s bags this season! This slouchy shoulder bag and the Mini Everyday Cabas bag are my top picks. Cuyana also has beautiful bags in this price range!
What are flats that work with jeans now? I don’t want to look like I’m in 2010!
Ballet flats have made a big comeback! I think finding a style that is fresh and cool is key. I love this style from Loeffler Randall. I also love this Mary Jane style from Margaux. These bow mules are also a fun alternative to a loafer!
If you could only have one pair of denim, what would you choose?
Probably the Pistola Lexi Jeans because they are my most comfortable and a fit you can always rely on! (more sizes here)
