Beaba Babycook in Eucalyptus
I am so excited to announce that we now carry Beaba on Olive Lane! An item that I have wanted to have on the site since OL was a little baby dream. Beaba was one of those items I used and loved HARD when I was a first time mom and it is still a product that feels near and dear to my heart.
When I had Charlie, I remember the idea of introducing solids felt so intimidating. I loved being in the kitchen but never felt like I had the opportunity to be creative with food and a baby. I had friends recommend Beaba as a way to cook the foods I ate every day and make them easy to give to Charlie. I remember getting my first Beaba delivered and was so proud to have her on the counter!
I never solely made my kids their own food but I loved having the option (no shame in using pouches or other baby food, I do and love them too!). To this day, I still use my OG Beaba to make apple sauce with my kids. Olive Lane was created with the intention of bringing joy back into the kitchen and feeling like you have everything you need to create delicious meals for your family! Beaba feels like one of those first tools for getting our littles to love food.
I personally love our Babycook because you can steam and blend two purees at a time. Depending on what you’re mixing up, you pour in the appropriate amount of water to steam and then blend in the same container. For these specific purees I did:
Mango apple sauce! Apple sauce (steamed) and then added mango and a dash cinnamon.
Pear and sweet potatoes! Sweet potatoes (steamed) and then add sliced pear and a dash of cinnamon.
You can also steam and blend meats, pasta, grains, legumes – so many options to introduce foods to your littles. We also have pretty glass bowl meal sets with suction to lessen the mess.
