It’s no secret that Bluemercury is hands down my favorite store to shop for beauty products. Not only is their selection perfectly curated but they are accommodating, knowledgeable and don’t play favorites when it comes to brands. I’ve been a loyal shopper for years now and have tried and tested many products on their shelves. They carry an extensive range of brands – everything from favorites like Nest Candles, La Mer, NARS, Bobbi Brown, Kiehls, Diptyque, Jo Malone to their own labels like M-61 (my favorite skincare line!) and Lune + Aster. When they approached me to describe a typical shopping experience for the holidays I jumped on the opportunity to brag about one of my go-to shopping destinations. When it comes to skincare I can honestly say that I’ve invested in “the best” and played around with budget friends finds. For the last few years I have been incredibly loyal to Bluemercury’s M-61 line. My obsession started after I had my beauty trial for our wedding and the makeup artist recommended that I find a good exfoliator and really streamline my skincare routine (which was somewhat non-existant at the time). I left that appointment and went straight to Bluemercury, stumbled upon M-61 and haven’t looked back. My go-to products include the Power Glow Peel, Jetglow Serum, Hydraboost Serum and the Powerglow Moisturizer. For the holidays, Bluemercury has this M-61 Power-Packed Essentials kit which would be the perfect gift for someone who is looking to test out a new skincare routine. I also picked up a few of these PowerGlow & Go sets for my mom, sister and mother in law to try! I can’t recommend the brand enough and this kit has some of the best stuff! I also picked up this Hydration to Go kit to keep in my car. A great stocking stuffer!

My beauty routine is pretty minimal but I rely on the products that I do use to get the job done in as few steps as possible. I recently added a few new products to my routine including Trish McEvoy’s Beauty Balm (in shade 1), Lune + Aster’s Hydrabright Concealer (in Light) and Lune + Aster’s Bronzer and Cheek Palette (a must for those with limited time to get ready – this has it all). The Lune + Aster concealer has been a game changer in my routine, especially because it combats dry skin around the eyes during winter months. I love that Marla (CEO and Co-Founder of Bluemercury) created this line as an answer to her friends who were looking for quality products that got the job done in a short amount of time. Exactly what I look for in my beauty products! 

I am lucky enough to have a Bluemercury just a few blocks away from our house which is actually quite dangerous. I stocked up on my favorite holiday Nest candles (a great gift idea as I burn these scents well into spring) and they have so many cute gift ideas for the beauty lovers in your life!
