There is no hiding that feeling you get in the fall. I swear it is always a fresh start for me, even more so than January 1. I always have big goals for fall through the holiday season and then I let things slow down around the first of the year. It’s a much better calendar year if I do say so myself.
Something about the shorter days, changing leaves and cooler temperatures makes me want to check things off of my list. I am way more motivated when the seasons change. Maybe I can credit this to that back to school anticipation? I don’t know. I do know a hot cup of coffee tastes way better when the windows are open and it’s cold outside so making lists are especially more enjoyable. Fall is a big season of lists for me – what to buy, what to cook, holiday gift ideas, home updates and especially, a fall bucket list.
Everything is more fun with Charlie in the mix. Watching his little eyes light up as he discovers new things! I know he is going to make this fall and holiday season so much fun. Here are a few things on our list for the fall season (before baby brother arrives!)…

On another note, you should probably buy this faux fur vest. I love the slightly oversized fit, high collar, design and it is crazy soft (doesn’t feel faux – you know what I mean?). It was just restocked and I’m wearing a small. Also, if you’re on the hunt for the perfect basic tee for fall, I swear Halogen makes the softest tee’s. My tunic style is currently sold out but I also own this long sleeve basic in 3 colors.
