One of my favorite things about our new home is the backyard area. Not only is it a treat to have outdoor space (and a fenced in yard to cage in Charlie) but it has been so much fun to host family and friends for dinner, brunch, etc. We haven’t done much with it yet but we did purchase this dining set from Home Depot (I love the wicker chairs) that works perfectly with our stone patio.

Entertaining more has been an item on my bucket list for the past few years. It feels so good to finally be able to do so with more space! I’ve been kind of addicted to buying pieces for our outdoor table scape. My mom came over for dinner last week while Dave was out of town and I used the opportunity to take out some of my favorite pieces. I love these jute placemats. Nothing fancy but sometimes, when your husband has been traveling for 6 days, you have to  treat yourself.

I shared a yummy and easy pasta recipe here but this pasta dish was gluten free pasta, ground turkey sausage, tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese. That’s it! I let the tomatoes simmer in in extra virgin olive oil with salt, pepper and oregano to create a sauce then combine everything. Done! I also put together a little cheese tray as an appetizer on this marble cheese tray (how pretty is this cheese tray?)). You guys, I can’t wait to buy all of the cheesy holiday entertaining items/table settings from Williams Sonoma (they just released their Halloween collection). I am totally going to be that mom who uses the Christmas plates that their kids remember forever. I’m linking a bunch of fun entertaining items in the slider below!

I love this Topshop dress which is under $100 and so comfortable! Perfect for my growing bump. I’m wearing a US 4. Hope you all are having a great week! xx
