When we first started looking for a house I always dreamed of a beautiful laundry room. As a mom who feels like she is constantly swimming in laundry, a pretty laundry room would be such a luxury! Dave and I knew that a washer and dryer would be one of the first things we needed in our new home. Because we had been renters in the city for 9 years, we had no idea where to start. Enter Abt Electronics.

If you’re from the Chicago area, I’m sure that you’re familiar with the Abt name. Abt is the ultimate one-stop shop for electronics and appliances with a beautiful store/showroom in Glenview, IL. What’s special about Abt is that although they are a huge retailer, they operate as a family business and really treat you like their top priority. Their customer service is amazing and they helped us narrow down exactly what we needed for our growing family. We decided on the Samsung Flex Washer and Dryer and could not be happier!

I was immediately drawn to the Samsung Flex Washer and Dryer because of a few specific features: 1. Two washers in one means that you can wash two separate loads on two separate settings at the same time! 2. A large front load wash which allows for bigger/fewer loads. 3. Self clean, for obvious reasons and 4. They are eco-friendly and energy efficient! Abt’s customer service called us a few times to ensure that we were prepared/aware of the specifics needed for installation. Honestly, I had no idea that a washer/dryer could be electric or gas hook-up so thank you Abt for keeping us informed and helping us make the right decision!

The day that Abt delivered our washer and dryer seriously felt like Christmas morning. Charlie was so excited to watch the Abt truck pull into our driveway and the delivery guys couldn’t have been more accommodating. They removed our old washer and dryer, installed our new machines, gave us tutorials on both machines, ran fresh cycles and played with Charlie and Webster along the way. It was such a seamless experience and walking into our laundry room makes me so so happy.
