Charlie wakes up at 5:30am and takes his first nap around 9am so we usually head out early (after breakfast) for a walk along the water with Dave and Webster. Once he wakes up from his first nap we have about 4 hours to enjoy the day before he naps again around 2/3pm and that is usually the time where we take advantage of our favorite activities around the city. We love going to Tunes with Tim at Monica + Andy, outdoor famers markets (you can see the full city schedule here), enjoying picnics in Lincoln Park, walks through the zoo, lunch outdoors (our new favorite spot is Left Coast, have you been?), swing time at various parks around the city and trips to Webster’s favorite dog park. Charlie is my favorite little companion and over the last month has become to much more content with joining me on various adventures so spending summer Friday’s with him makes the weekend that much better.
These photos were taken at Green City Market (which I feel like I talk about all the time), an outdoor farmers market that takes place in Lincoln Park on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It is the closest farmers market to our apartment and Charlie has become a vendor favorite – he tends to lock eyes with a fruit or vegetable and it has to be in his mouth immediately. Haha, I love him. We like to go on Wednesdays because it is quieter but Saturday morning are so much fun. We are both wearing rompers from Old Navy and I have to say that babies in rompers is pretty much the cutest thing ever. I love the fun prints that ON has this season for little ones, including these palm print leggings, this tiger bodysuit, and a gingham shirt/pant set. This little boy brightens every single day (I mean, look at him trying to eat that tomato!!!).
