If you follow me on instagram (@liz.adams_) then you probably notice that I’m not one to shy away from a good flower pic. After living in Lincoln Park for almost 8 years I have found my fair share of neighborhood flower shops and after receiving so many suggestion request I thought I would share a few favorites…

A New Leaf in Old Town – these photos were taken outside of one of their locations, 1818 N Wells, where they have a ton of beautiful flowers on display and an event space that you can rent our for weddings and/or events. Their display is really amazing, thought out and as soon as you walk in the door you feel happy. They also have a small storefront down the street, 1645 N Wells, which I usually pop into, as well. I have shared photos from A New Leaf here, here and here.

Green in Old Town – I love this place because it is STUFFED with flowers, vases, planters, etc. You appreciate the mess because it is also so pretty. They always have beautiful topiaries and flowers lining their stoop and door, even when the temperatures are freezing. It’s definitely a happy spot on Wells Street, 1718 N Wells (basically neighbors to A New Leaf!).

Dilly Lily in Lincoln Park – when I need a quick and beautiful floral arrangement, I always go to Dilly Lily. Their designs are beautiful and they always use my favorite flowers – garden roses, ranunculus, hydrangea and peonies.

Jayson Home and Garden in Lincoln Park – not only is this one of my favorite interior decor stores but their garden center is stunning. In the spring/summer/fall they have their courtyard filled with blooming flowers ,house  plants, gardening plants, topiaries, fiddle leaf figs…the list goes on. In the winter their courtyard is home to Christmas trees. It’s such a gorgeous spot and a must visit when you’re in town.

Sprout Home in Ukranian Village – known for its plants (we have 2 that are going strong for 3+ years from Sprout!), they have the most impressive selection in the city. They also have insane custom floral arrangement filled with beautiful flowers that you may not see all that often (seen here). They also have a gorgeous courtyard and also offer classes! Their store has the most insane terrariums and I’ve been dying to try one of their terrarium classes. It’s a must visit!

Fleur in Logan Square – I love when a flower shop combines a few of my favorite things – shopping, stationary and flowers. Honestly, throw in a coffee shop/bakery/wine and cheese shop and I would probably move in. Such a cute space!

Am I missing any? I always love discovering new places!

This look is filled with what I would consider essentials in my closet – a classic silk blouse, my favorite denim, pointed toe flats and tortoise sunnies. Also, I love a good straw bag for flower or farmer’s market hauls – this, this and this are all 25% off with code INTHEFAM.

Equipment Blouse (plaid is no longer available)  //  Frame Denim (25% off!)  //  Illesteva Sunglasses  // Hat Attack Tote  //  M.Gemi Flats (similar for less here + 25% off!)
