I’m so excited to share photos of our baby’s nursery with you today! Regardless of whether or not we had found out the sex of Baby Adams, I knew I wanted to do a neutral room filled with items that I loved. I really tried to collect individual pieces that made me happy rather than think about it too much and I’m so happy with the finished product!

We are renters and the second bedroom in our apartment has so much natural light with big bay windows that I wanted to be the star of the room. The space is pretty small so we decided on as few pieces as possible to accomplish everything we needed for our little one. We were fortunate enough to work with some amazing brands that helped us accomplish exactly what we were looking for and I love that all of these pieces will be used in future bedrooms as our family continues to grow.

I was really torn between doing a white crib for the nursery but with the white walls and the amount of light that shines through the windows I opted for this Archway Crib in grey from Crate & Kids. I am so happy we decided to switch it up because the grain and color adds a warm feel to the room. We complemented the grey crib with the Milo Glider in grey which is seriously so so comfortable. I find myself sitting there, rocking back and forth with my coffee most mornings. Rather than add the ottoman I decided on this natural moroccan leather pouf from Lulu & Georgia to give some texture.

We worked with my sweet friend Meg of MegMade on a custom vintage dresser for the room and the results are everything I could have ever dreamed of! For those of you that aren’t familiar with MegMade it is an amazing shop and design studio filled with rehabbed vintage furniture and the option to customize your own piece from their collection. I love the cloudy grey paint color Meg chose for the dresser and the inside of the drawers are painted in a contrasting buttery grey. Meg actually started her business when her first son was born and needed a dresser for their nursery – she knew exactly what I would need in terms of a changing table and I know this piece will be a staple in our home for years and years to come. You can browse finished pieces here or stop by their amazing space!

The rest of the room is really simple and clean. I found this adorable mobile on Etsy right when I first got pregnant and knew that regardless of what we were having I wanted to include these cute knitted animals. I complemented the mobile with prints from Sharon Montrose’s Animal Print Shop {the Little Darlings are above the crib and the Babies are near the shelves}. The shelves are filled with gifts we’ve received from family and friends and everything else is linked below for your reference! Feel free to email me if you have any specific questions.

And I just wanted to say thank you for all of your kind words, support, encouraging comments and the general love you’ve shown throughout my pregnancy. The past 9 months have been so surreal and the fact that our baby is almost here feels like a dream. Thank you for always looking beyond the computer screen and treating me as a friend, even though the majority of us have never met I truly feel a huge sense of community thanks to this site and my loyal following. I can’t wait to share this next chapter of my life with all of you!
