Last week my friends at Farfetch sent me to The Langham to celebrate the launch of their new coffee table book, Farfetch Curates Design. The book highlights the hottest design-focused hotels from across the world {no surprise that they featured The Langham} from a fashion point of view in collaboration with Assouline. Farfetch has been a favorite shopping destination of mine for a long time, acting as a selling platform for the best of the best designers from local boutiques around the world. It’s a curated collection that isn’t offered at every other store and because of this you know that the recommendations in their newest coffee table book won’t be a disappointment.
A few highlights from my day/reasons I love The Langham: their beautiful lobby, afternoon tea at Pavilion with pretty views of the city, the heavenly hotel rooms, breakfast/lunch/or dinner at Travelle {get the burrata and the black bean fries!}, the spa – oh my gosh you guys, the spa is so so good, and the iconic pink Langham taxi. Plus you can’t beat the location at Wabash and the River.
The Langham has been voted the #1 Traveler’s Choice Hotel in the United States by TripAdvisor and it’s no surprise Farfetch chose to feature the beautiful hotel alongside other impressive hotels around the world in their new book. Your experience begins when you pull up to the golden marquee, spot the pink taxi, and walk into the lobby filled with the prettiest glass globes floating above you. It’s an urban oasis in itself and if you have the chance to stay there, enjoy a day at the spa, or indulge in one of their yummy restaurants – do it!
