Neutral Nursery Inspiration Board

neutral nursery inspiration boardNow that we are officially three months away from our due date I’ve been working hard to finalize our nursery design. Since we won’t be finding out the sex of our little peanut until he/she is here I am working to keep things neutral and playful at the same time. Our nursery has beautiful bay windows lining the entire north wall of the room so I thought I’d take inspiration from the great outdoors and stick with a soft color palette accented with blues and corals, gold details, and lots of texture. Since we are renting I want to make sure that the items we choose can be used in our next home, whether it’s in another nursery or a different room in the house.

We are working with MegMade for our baby’s dresser and I couldn’t be more excited. Meg is a local designer who transforms vintage furniture into shiny new pieces and got her start when she decided to update a piece for her first son’s nursery. If you’re in Chicago I highly recommend popping by their showroom! They have so many beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that are ready to go today or can be customized for your home. I can’t wait to see this board come to life in the coming months!
