We are heading to the Virgin Islands today! We are spending two days on St. Thomas before heading back to Lovango (a trip we took with our kids last year and loved!) for the rest of the week. After not traveling for Christmas I can’t tell you how excited we all are for a warm weather trip. We also aren’t doing a big spring break trip this year, we are just going to hang around Charleston, so we are treating this as our January spring break.
What I love most about the Virgin Islands is that they are so casual. No makeup, air dried hair and no one really cares about your outfits. My suitcase is made up of swimsuits and coverups, we have plans to eat dinner on the beach most nights and I hope the majority of our days roll right into night.
I am packing a mix of pieces that I’ve had for some time plus a few new warm weather purchases. You’ll see a few of the swimsuits I shared here and a couple new additions.
Here’s what I packed for our trip…
I ordered this shell shirt in a size large and it is the perfect oversized fit (almost sold out).
The color of this coverup is so good and it’s the perfect beach to lunch dress.
I couldn’t believe the price on this swimsuit! It is so smoothing and flattering. I also added these $75 sandals to my cart and they look so much more expensive in person.
This straw tote is perfection. It is floppy and easy to pack plus traveling with kids means it acts as a beach tote and a bag for dinner.
A new colorful collected necklace that is easy and effortless. Use code LIZ20 for 20% off!
I can’t wait to wear this green swimsuit.
