Goodbye fall, it’s officially winter in The Windy City! Not only did the temps drop but thanks to Chicago’s wind chill it is extremely cold here. Thankfully I made sure to line up my army of winter favorites to ensure I’m ready for the brutal months ahead. Let’s start with the obvious – a winter coat. I have an embarrassingly large collection of coats but because they are basically considered an outfit in my book I don’t feel guilty making a few new purchases once the temps drop. Nordstrom has a ton of amazing coat options under $200 so I can justify a coat that is all about warmth, a fun print, something classic, a fun color, a trench, and a little faux fur {this is fun!}. I love that this Betsey Johnson leopard coat is more subtle thanks to a neutral color way, plus the bow is the cutest little extra detail. It is an outfit in itself, which is exactly what I need when getting dressed feels incredibly difficult!
