Target’s Fall Campaign: Tailored

Target2Target1Target3Target5Target4

Another big trend from the Target Fall Campaign is a tailored silhouette {think: clean lines, sleek pencil skirts, structured jackets, and crisp separates} which I know will be on high rotation within my own wardrobe for fall. I picked up this tweed jacket {I love the leather piping!} from Target, which is on trend and budget friendly compared to other jackets I had been coveting. For me, the easiest way to polish off my look is by adding a tailored jacket/blazer so this option was a no brainer. Paired with a pleated skirt, edgy heels, and a pop of pattern makes this look work and play appropriate. A few other items that can help complete this tailored trend within your own wardrobe: a faux leather moto jacket, a chic dinner jacket, a colorblock ponte dress, and a jacquard pencil skirt.

On another note, the models at the Target fashion show had these perfectly effortless waves that left me completely envious {and bored with my own hair}. I am sort of in a rut with my hair, if it is short I can use a curling iron and the waves stay pretty well, but once my hair starts to grow out it gets heavy and puffy and blah. Apparently, all of the models were using a new line of hair products from Toni & Guy and considering I’ve never found a product that I’ve fallen in love with for my hair, I think I’m going to give it a try. This puffy, fuzzy, humid wave is just not doing it for me.
