T.G.I.F. has never sounded better. I actually can’t believe it is already Friday, but I am extremely excited to be enjoying a weekend from the comfort of my own home. It will give me time to finally get organized before a new season officially rolls around {my closet is a mess of anxiety}, catch up on emails, and write down some goals for the coming months. I also plan to stalk style.com for all of the SS2014 runway images/collections from NYFW!

I wanted to say thank you for your kind words about my engagement! To be honest, the entire thing is kind of surreal and the idea of planning a wedding is already giving me some anxiety. Thankfully I nailed down a wedding planner here in Chicago and can slowly start to piece together the puzzle that feels like a knot of different things in my head. After a summer full of weddings, I’m starting to feel like I don’t really know what I want for my own – so adding this huge task to my to-do list sounds daunting {but obviously, crazy amazing}. Sadly, I won’t be sharing any details with you on S&S until it is all said and done. One thing I’ve always known is that I want my wedding to be a complete surprise – to my guests, my extended family, and even my wedding party. All of the details will be hush-hush until the big day but I’m sure to share some tiny sneak peeks of the planning process on instagram so be sure to follow along.
