NYC Instagrams

I am currently in the plane on my way home to Chicago and thought I’d share a few photos from my trip to NYC! The trip was sort of planned last minute after I was invited to attend the rewardStyle event on Saturday and knew it would be the perfect time to schedule some meetings, meet a few of my favorite bloggers flying in for the event/who live in NY, and it just so happened to be fashion week…
I arrived on Saturday, quickly unpacked and repacked to get ready for the rewardStyle party. A big group of us met for dinner before the event at the Dream Downtown, the restaurant, Marble Lane was excellent with very fun decor and I was so thrilled to finally meet MackenzieMolly + Sally, and Bradley! {See a fun photo of all of us here!}
The next morning I woke up to explore the city on my own in my Tibi jacket and new Topshop studded flats {similar}.
I stopped by Magnolia Bakery and enjoyed a yummy red velvet cupcake, followed by the frosting on top of a pistachio cupcake – mmmm! I tried some cereal milk ice cream from Momofuku Milk Bar {bizarre but kinda tasty}, and shopped around with Danielle
Can we talk about how beautiful this Rebecca Minkoff bag is? Spotted at Henri Bendel
On Sunday night I had dinner with a sorority sister at Rosemary’s, the most darling and delicious italian restaurant in the Village. Monday was packed with meetings including a stop at the Jack Rogers corporate office beaming with light and pretty shoes. I happened to snag these Churchill booties which I can already tell are going to be worn to death this fall.
Aside from the photos above, I grabbed drinks with Grace and Alicia last night at Corkbuzz, walked everywhere, had lunch in Central Park, saw Olivia Palermo darting around town {adorable as ever}, and gifted myself a few fun items for fall. Although I didn’t attend any of the shows, it was such a blast taking in all of the fashion and getting lost in the big city on my own.
Now it is back to reality and I have to say I am looking forward to getting back to my desk, my boys, and my sweet home Chicago.
