Hello Short + Sweet readers! It’s Liz from the fashion and style blog, Sequins and Stripes, and I am thrilled to be here today ringing in the new year with a few things I am looking forward to in 2012! Last year was very good to me, I left my desk job to pursue my dream of personal styling, started my own business, traveled to Europe for a month with my sister, and booked my first few clients. 2011 will be hard to beat but I have no doubt 2012 will be a wonderful year.

In 2012 I plan to grow my personal styling business and pass along these wise words from Orson Welles to my clients. I want to continue to inspire my readers on Sequins and Stripes because I am so thankful for their support, encouragement, confidence in my opinions and personal style, and loyalty. I hope to add a few fun accessories to my wardrobe, and rock this color combo because it makes me happy. I hope to have my blog or styling services published. I would love to be able to meet more inspiring bloggers in this wonderful virtual world we are apart of, I am so fortunate to have an amazing blogger network in Chicago. I hope to tackle my own closet and give away pieces to those in need.
