I am currently in central Kansas visiting my grandmother. My dad grew up in this little cowtown and my grandmother has never left. Days are slow and life is simple; a nice escape from city life. I will be here until Sunday afternoon, then it is back to Chicago to celebrate Labor Day with bbq’s, sunshine, and friends.Â
