Well, it’s about that time of year to stock up on jeans for the cooler temperatures ahead and I wanted to share some of my favorite denim styles from Shopbop with you! I did a similar roundup earlier in the year all about my favorite mom jeans – and those are still some of my favorites (you’ll see some overlap). But because the weather and temperatures are a little different here in Charleston, I feel like I’ve really narrowed down the styles that I like to wear. I also think that at this point in my life I’ve come to understand what works for my body more so I wanted to share 5 of my favorites jeans right now.

Agolde Riley High Rise Straight Crop Jeans in Zephyr

First up, Agolde Riley High Rise Straight Crop Jeans in Zephyr. There is a reason these have been in my top 5 HAF best sellers for 3 years in a row. I feel my best in these jeans. They suck you in at all the right places, are a lighter wash but not too light, they make your butt look amazing and I love the raw hem. I also own these in a 27 and truth be told I’m sort of in-between sizes right now. The 26 look better so I would say take your true size but just be aware that there is little stretch so you’ll have to wear them in a bit. These are my favorites.

*I quickly wanted to talk about stretch in denim vs. no stretch. I’ve decided I don’t like jeans with a lot of stretch. I don’t have the thighs that work well with spandex in denim. I don’t think it makes the quality of the denim look great, I tend to think stretch hugs every ripple in my legs and I just don’t really gravitate towards that anymore. So some of these do have a small amount of spandex (not these though), I’ve generally been drawn to a no stretch denim lately.

Wrangler High Rise Wide Leg Jeans

These Wrangler High Rise Wide Leg Jeans maybe wouldn’t be a staple in my closet but I really love them. They are so flattering on the booty, are a trendier wide leg cropped style, I love the off-white colors and they and are only $108. Sizes are selling so fast so hop to it but I think this style is going to be really fun for fall!

Veronica Beard Arya Jeans with Elastic Waist

Two words: elastic waist. I’m so sad this exact style sold out but hopefully they are restocked! But who knew elastic waist jeans would be such a wonderful addition to my closet. I have worn these so many times already. I did also order this style to see what it looks like, stay tuned. I love the wider leg.

Re/Done 70S Stove Pipe

The Re/Done 70S Stove Pipe jeans. Another classic off white style that fits sooo well. I love the straight silhouette that gives your legs so much length. The quality of the denim is so good and it hugs you in in all the right places. I always size up in white denim because I never want them to hug my legs too tight. This style will be a staple for fall with cozy knits and stripes!

Agolde Riley Distressed Crop Jeans

Ok if you own and love the Agolde Riley in Zephyr, then you need to try these Agolde Riley Distressed Crop Jeans! It’s interesting because sometimes the Riley styles all fit a little differently but these remind my so much of the Zephyr style with just a few differences. I love the distressed knees, high waist, straight style and cropped length. Distressed without feeling like a mess, you know?

Another all time favorite (that you can see in this post!) are my Citizens of Humanity Charlotte High Rise Straight Leg Jeans. I actually just ordered a replacement pair because I accidentally got them caught on a nail and they ripped. The denim quality and the fit on these are SO GOOD. That soft, lived in jean that feels like you’ve had forever. I also ordered these Agolde Mid Rise Loose Fit 90’s Jeans and I can’t wait for them to arrive! I originally ordered them in the 27 and love the fit but decided I need the 26. I’ll share with you when they arrive! I feel like that is all the denim I’ll need for fall and beyond!

I often get asked why I don’t own any Mother denim and personally I don’t think Mother looks great on me. I think Mother looks AMAZING on so much, but I have big hips and a muscular butt and thighs and Mother just hugs me in the wrong places. Again with my comment about stretch, Mother has too much stretch and I don’t think it serves me well. I do however love this Flower Power tee!!
