A Cute Little Coastal Bathroom Reveal

Last summer we added a full bathroom to our first floor that I am just getting around to sharing with you. We have a den off our kitchen that serves as our playroom/an extra bedroom for visitors. It used to have a closet that backed up to an extra large closet in our mudroom that housed our washer and dryer. When we bought the house we had a contractor walk through to discuss the possibility of relocating our washer/dryer and closing off these closets to make a bathroom that opens to the den. Well, here we are! A happy little coastal bathroom on our first floor, perfect for guests and for us!

This space was small with specific spots for each need. We wanted to be very budget conscious with our tile choices so opted for simple hexagon floors and glossy subway tile for the shower. We chose a light blue for the walls (I honestly don’t know the color!) that matched the hexagon tile on the floors. We swapped out the hardware on our Pottery Barn vanity for these fun brass knobs from Pepe + Carols. The towel hooks are these contrasting ball wall hooks in cream and brass and then we have this big towel hook in cream and brass on the door.

This Serena and Lily Lanai mirror is really the star of the bathroom. It gives it so much warmth and texture! I love it so much.

I keep my favorite room spray from Mer Sea (I want my whole house to smell like this!) in a pretty little cup I found at a local store.

I think that’s it! If you have any specific questions let me know in the comments.
