What I’m Bringing to the Bahamas

Shop this look: Rhode Madeline Dress, Loeffler Randall Maisie Sport Sandals, Binge Island Bowl Bag

I have a very fun weekend coming up that I could not be more excited about: my friend Chassity‘s birthday on Harbour Island in the Bahamas! We’ll be there for five days and I can’t wait to soak up the sun, walk on the pink sand beaches, and celebrate my amazing friend. I’ve been doing some packing planning ahead of the trip and wanted to share a few of the items that I’ll be bringing in my suitcase — I’m thinking breezy dresses, island-inspired details, and pastel tones will be perfect for our itinerary. Here are the highlights!

What I’m Bringing to the Bahamas

Love the ruffle neckline and the waist-tie detail of this Farrah Dress from Alemais. I’m planning to wear this for lunch out on the town!

This dress is a dreamy option for drinks or dinner in the evening. A beautiful look for summer brides, too!

The tortoiseshell buckle on these bamboo slides makes them feel a little bit more elevated than a basic sandal, but they are still easy enough to slip on and off.

I’m obsessed with this chic one-shoulder bikini by Hunza.

This easy eyelet dress is the exact kind of thing I want to throw on following an afternoon at the pool.

This woven bowl bag goes with everything.

I’m planning to wear this caftan as a cover-up.

These espadrille wedges will be my go-to for every event this summer.

Last but not least, this rosy Madeline Dress from Rhode is one of my favorite recent purchases…I love how the shorter length is balanced by the volume of the sleeves. Just a little bit extra, and oh so much fun.

Even though it’s for a specific occasion, this packing list became a sort of “summer checklist” for what I’m planning to wear all season long. Easy dresses, pretty pastels, and fun details are definitely my MO. Shopbop has so many options for filling out your own summer checklist! A big thank you to Shopbop for sponsoring this post!
