I should have titled this post ‘fall wardrobe essentials’ because I love every item I’m wearing so much. All basics in my book to be worn time and time again. The temperatures have dropped here in Charleston and my Midwest blood is not complaining. The trees are just starting to turn, I have my favorite fall/holiday candles burning all day long (loving this and this and this!) and I’m excited to get back to cooking next week. This year has been such a blur and I’m ready to find my fall/winter cozy groove.
We don’t get to downtown Charleston very often. It’s such a short drive from where we live but we have found ourselves settling into our surroundings. But when we do get downtown I remember how dreamy these streets are. The homes, the landscaping, the window boxes, the narrow streets and colorful doors. Charleston really is such a special place.
Over the years I have tried A LOT of stripe tees. Like a lot, a lot. This boyfriend stripe tee from KULE has blown me away in terms of quality, fit, durability and style. It’s such a good tee, a little thicker and such a classic. The slightly dropped shoulders give it a more relaxed fit which I prefer. It does run a tiny bit small (more so in the arms) but loosens up so nicely with wear. I would say take your true size! I also have and love the modern long tee from KULE, a little lightweight and a softer fit if that makes sense. Paired with some of my favorite off-white wide leg jeans (order a size down, I have found these give quite a bit) and classic loafers from Birdies.
This fuzzy Stand Studio tote is sooo much fun. I think it’s going to be my go-to this winter. Just a fun statement and a good size. Super casual, easily holds my wallet, phone, keys, baby wipes, diapers and more.
Most days you’ll find me in some version of this outfit – rotating between flats and sneakers of some sort. All pieces that will be true staples in your wardrobe for years to come. I’m all about a good fall jacket and this is currently catching my eye (along with so many in this blog post!).
Can you believe it is November 4th?! 2021 has truly been a WHIRLWIND. I’m ready for the season ahead to settle in at home. Hope you all are having the best week! xx
