Easy and breezy is my motto this summer. Since we’re mostly sticking close to home for the foreseeable future, I wanted to update my summer wardrobe with pieces that are casual enough for daily wear but still feel feminine, fresh, and a little fun. And while I wasn’t necessarily seeking out maternity styles, all of these items should accommodate a growing bump, too!

Rounding Up My Recent Purchases for Summer
One of my absolute favorite discoveries of the past few months was lemlem, a Black woman-owned brand that makes the most beautiful, ethical, and sustainable pieces. I could get lost in lemlem’s dreamy Instagram feed for hours! I recently wore this Koki beach dress for a date night with Dave, and this dress and this dress are next up on my wishlist!

This daisy sunglasses chain is such a fun accessory! I’ve been wearing it every day in Michigan and love that it helps me hold onto my sunglasses while running after the boys on the beach.
These are my go-to budget-friendly sunglasses. Love this under $15 version, too.
Target has been killing it lately! I have been wearing this t-shirt dress on a weekly basis, and I brought this cute sweatshirt top to wear with these pants (not from Target, but still amazing) while in Michigan. I also recently ordered this gingham dress and this eyelet dress, both under $40.
I wanted a cute bag for carting all of our stuff to the beach and this under $50 striped backpack does the trick!
Last but not least, I’ve been wearing these silver Birkenstocks allll the time. Sometimes you just want something comfy you can slide on and I love these even more than I thought I would!
