Summer looks a little different this year but that doesn’t mean I’m sacrificing style while hanging at home. I’ve been reminded lately how important it is to make an effort with yourself when it comes to getting dressed and ready for the day regardless of plans (or lack there of!). Banana Republic’s new collection was created around the idea of “bring your own sunshine” which should honestly be everyone’s motto this summer. Making the best of what we have, celebrating the mini moments, taking advantage of the beautiful weather and time together.

I’ve been drawn to the simple shape of an easy t-shirt/slip dress but love this satin leopard style (also available in solid neutrals). It’s easy, breezy for day or night and so comfortable! Neutrals are always trusted staples in my closet and I love how effortless this outfit feels. I’m also going to be buying this sweater in every color because it is PERFECT for summer.

White linen pants just scream summer to me. Whether you’re dressing up for a work meeting or hosting a dinner in your backyard I feel like this look is so timeless. I love the tailored but relaxed fit of this style and I made them feel a little more relaxed with this sweater tank (also love this style!). I couldn’t resist this pink blazer (how amazing would it look with these shorts?) to throw on when I want to feel a bit more sophisticated.
