It was 54 degrees in Chicago yesterday and although we have snow in the forecast I can feel Spring on the horizon and I’m here for it! After the holidays I’m kind of ready to ditch the bulky layers and lighten up my knits and color palette for something a little fresher.

Throughout the year jeans and a sweater/tee are my uniform. I’ll usually swap my shoes out for either flats or sneakers but when I’m in mom mode, this is my go-to outfit. Comfortable, easy to be busy in, stylish but without a lot of fuss. As I get older I am seeing my style transition from novelty pieces (which I still love for fun occasions!) to a more simple outfit combination. I think this is just a reflection of the stage of life that I’m in. Most days are hectic and don’t require a lot of fluff and I think my wardrobe has mirrored the shift in my lifestyle. I welcome it! I rely on pieces to get me through the day that can take me from different scenarios without changing. Simple, clean, comfortable, natural and easy.

Walmart does it again this year with cute pieces for Spring! A ton of you wanted more budget friendly options this year so I’m excited to partner with them to share some new pieces just in time for warmer temps ahead. I’m obsessed with these cropped white jeans – so flattering and fun. Since I’m shorter (5’4″) I love to show off a little ankle with my jeans and this is a great option! I never like white jeans to be too tight either and these are comfortable and forgiving and just such a good fit. Walmart has so many jeans for Spring if you’re in the market!
