It’s officially coat weather in Chicago and I’m not complaining! I have what I like to call a little bit of a coat problem. I’m obsessed. I can argue that it is a necessary purchase when you live in a place that is cold 8 months out of the year. A coat is basically the make or break it item in your outfit when you live in the midwest so you better believe I like to have some options.

Since exercise has become such a big part of my life over the past couple years, I’ve found myself wearing activewear most days as I navigate mom life and work life. lululemon is my go-to for workout essentials and it only seemed fitting to pick out a coat to layer with when the days get really chilly! I love a good puffer coat and am obsessed with my new blue Wunder Puff Jacket! It is so incredibly warm but also very lightweight. I also love the shorter style because it helps you keep your shape and not feel like you’re too bundled up. A few other coats I’m loving from lululemon are the Cloudscape Jacket, In A Flurry Vest and the Roam Far 3-in-1 Jacket!

I literally took these photos after leaving the gym and can vouch for this entire outfit! My trusted Align leggings in the Melanite color. I like the 25” length because it hits just above my ankle but isn’t a crop style. A good full length legging that isn’t too long. Paired with maybe my new favorite top—the It’s Rulu Long Sleeve crop tee with the half zip. So cute!
