Dave is a man of simple pleasures. He doesn’t need much when it comes to fashion – a good pair of jeans, a sweater, a few quality tee’s and comfy sneakers –and this man is set. That’s what I love about Dave Adams, he knows what he like and he sticks to it! We get a lot of questions about Dave’s favorites so today I thought I’d share a few basics that he can’t live without!

A cashmere sweater: A must have during this transitional time of year where some days it can get warm but in the morning and night it is still very chilly. Dave has this cashmere sweater in 2 colors and it is under $100!

Good quality tee: Let’s just say whether Dave is wearing a t-shirt solo, layering under his favorite sweater (^^), under his trusted Better Sweater or a jacket – Dave wears tees A LOT. Trust me when I say that these are the best. They hold up well in the wash, are so super soft and and look cute alone or layered!

Under $100 denim: Dave has a few nicer styles (this is one of his favorite pairs of investment denim) but is always looking for a nice fit at a good price. I bought these Topman jeans for him which he was originally very skeptical of but LOVES. He calls them his comfy jeans and they are only $65! Dave says they fit true to size. 

Cool “dad” sneakers: Says Dave – haha. I think he means sneakers that don’t make him feel like a dad. You all know I love my Veja’s and I’m kind of jealous that Dave bought this navy/red combo. I love how sporty they feel! Dave says he loves the shape, too. Not too rounded and not too clunky. Just right! *be aware, these take a couple wears to break in – the tongue is a little stiff at first but trust me it loosens up!

I’m biased but I think this dad is pretty cute! Dave doesn’t shop often but when he does, he always says “I’m running to Oakbrook” but that really means “I’m going to Nordstrom because that’s the only place I know where to shop.” Seems fitting because you can buy all of your favorite brands in one place!
