I recently took a poll on Instagram stories asking for fall content suggestions and one of the top requests was for fall workwear. I get it—it’s where we all spend the majority of our time during the week! With that said, unless you work in a more formal corporate environment I think it’s always nice to try and stock up on pieces that can easily transition to the weekend or after-work events (this slip skirt comes to mind). Ultimately, your office style should give you the confidence and poise to knock out whatever you need to get done that day, but you should also feel like some version of yourself!

When I was in the working world, one of my first stops for office-appropriate workwear was always Banana Republic. I really feel like they’ve nailed professional style that still feels fresh and fun (and at budget-friendly prices). I was so impressed with their recent fall styles and picked out this skirt, blouse, and sweater to add to my fall wardrobe. Isn’t that color fun?! I’ll admit that yellow isn’t always a color I gravitate towards but I’m OBSESSED with this golden hue…so gorgeous and seasonal. This skirt is a dream! I find it runs a little large so I would size down! I also got these cropped plaid pants to wear with this ribbed sweater top and leopard overcoat which I’ll be styling two ways on Instagram today! So really I’ll be sharing 4 looks to wear this fall featuring all of these pieces from Banana Republic!

The best part about all of these pieces is that they can so easily be dressed up and down…I already know that I’ll be pairing this cozy sweater with jeans and booties for my more casual days, and this leopard coat is going to be on heavy rotation for fall date nights with Dave. Consider them all essentials in my fall capsule wardrobe…office appropriate and stylish enough for everyday wear, too!
