I don’t travel for work very often, so it’s kind of fun when I do get the opportunity to take a business trip! Since most of my trips are just three or four days at most, I like to rely on a few key essentials to get me to my destination and back home again. There’s nothing worse than arriving at the airport feeling disorganized or like you overpacked (been there way too many times), so here are the items that keep me feeling cool, calm, and collected on every trip:

This Away carry-on is the best! I love that the wheels spin in all directions to navigate the narrow plane aisles, and there’s even an ejectable battery that you can use to charge your phone in a pinch.

I never leave home without my Hydro Flask, especially when I travel. Plus, bringing a reusable water bottle keeps me from buying plastic water bottles the entire trip.

I’ve talked about the MZ Wallace Metro Tote on my Instagram before, but this bag is seriously amazing…it’s like the Mary Poppins magic bag that fits everything! I love that I can throw my laptop, snacks, a planner, my wallet, my monogrammed accessory pouch, anything I need for Charlie and Jack in there and there’s still room. It’s also packable and rollable so you can stick it in your suitcase if needed!

Comfort is key when traveling, am I right? You’ll usually find me at the airport wearing my favorite sneakers, a cozy second layer and a cashmere wrap in case the airplane gets chilly. And then I’ll throw on my go-to sunglasses when I land, of course!

Traveling can do a number on your skin, so I like to wash my face and do a quick mask from my TULA Glow Essentials Kit as soon as I get to my hotel. I’ll also spritz this Fresh Antioxidant Mist on my face if I feel like I need a mid-day pick-me-up.

I’d love to say that I use any plane time to watch a movie or read, but it’s usually dedicated time that I use to crank on work. For that reason, I rely on my Air Pods, my Cuyana tech carryall, and my portable charger

Do you usually travel for work or for fun? What are the travel essentials you rely on for every trip?
